Order marks as the order as complete

    When I place order for product, it marks the order as complete straight away i didnt do anything.

    It should be processing or pending. How to fix this?

    Hi @sibichan,

    If you have ticked the Virtual and Downloadable boxes for the products purchased, the order will be given the Completed status after payment.

    It could be that you have an order status manager.

    SO that we can check, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    @sibichan, thanks for the SSR.

    I did not find anything that stood out in the report. While checking the plugins you have active, I did not find one that could be changing the order status to completed.

    This brings another question, have you added any custom code to automatically mark orders as completed?
    (Here’s a code snippet that could’ve been added to bring that effect)

    Secondly, just to do a small test, briefly switch your theme to Storefront and disable all other plugins except WooCommerce and try to make an order for the same product you shared a screenshot of. Check if it is still marked as complete.

    Let us know how it goes.
