1. Is there a way to allow customers to name orders? Perhaps, adding a custom field to the order page?

You can add custom fields to the orders using a premium extension, for example, Admin Custom Order Fields.

Can I set an expiry date on orders for each customer? I.e., two years from the day of purchase?

You can navigate to WooCommerce > settings > accounts & privacy > go to the Personal data retention section, and tell WooCommerce how long you would like to keep the data for the orders.
