order not completed – incomplete sale – automatic email

  • Hi, anybody know of a solution to this; When a customer gets part way through a purchase and for whatever reason abandons the sale, at present we have to manually check the sales log regularly for ‘incomplete sales’ and then manually send a chase up email with ‘suggestions’ on how they might work their way through the buying process in a slightly different way.
    The ideas being to resurrect potentially lost sales.
    ie if paying by card to suggest to try PayPal, maybe pay by card through PayPal service, if paying by PayPal try card, all else fails get in touch etc etc.
    I have seen functionality on other stores online where an automatic email is generated in this instance, is this possible with WP eCommerce? Is there a plugin available?
