    That should not happen ??

    Can you tell me if there are JavaScript errors in your console?
    You can check by a right-click and select “Inspect Element”. Then select the Console-tab. Refresh the page. Do you see any Errors?
    If so, could you paste them here (without personal data).

    Hmm, annoying.

    Could you check in the database if the table wt_terms has a field term_order? That is where data is being saved.

    Also, is it possible for you to install the plugin Query Monitor?
    In the admin tab it should show certain problems if and when they occur.

    I see 27 PHP errors in QM. Could you paste them here?

    And which version of PHP are you using? This plugin should be compatible with everything from 5.3 to 8.1, but you never know.

    I have the same issue. It chose custom. then I sort alphabetically and it does not save it, but shows and saves them on two halves alphabetically starting from H and the second half starts from A. The plugin is up to date
