• For the past 12+ months, we’ve been encountering a very random but continuous problem with some of our email order notifications. 95% of the time, everything works the way it should: someone places an order on the website via this store, and we get the notification within minutes. But very randomly, about twice a month now, notifications for small handfuls of orders placed around the same time either take an hour to 5-8 hours to get delivered, and sometimes no notification is received at all. Given that the site this is all for is a catering company that needs these emails instantly, it’s become a BIG problem.

    Our hosting provider has run every trace log known to man, and they stand firm that this is a problem with THIS plug-in.

    What can be done here to resolve this?

  • The headers on the delayed emails should show where the hold-up is taking place. When email goes missing or is delayed it’s usually not the sending end that is responsible!
