    Hi there,

This case is somewhat strange, at least for me. I’ll try to explain it the best I can ??

Yesterday I updated the Redsys plugin, my payment module for credit cards, and now the clients cannot pay.

I have called Redsys support and their module works correctly, but we have detected an error, since the order numbers are altered.

If I look at the order number that WooCommerce creates, I see that it contains 9 numbers, like this: #123456789, but if I look at the order number that arrives at the payment terminal, I see that a z and 3 numbers have been added, like this: #123456789z123

According to Redsys support, the order numbers cannot contain more than 12 digits and this causes the payment error. What we don’t know is who and why this sequence is being added to the end of the order.

Does anyone have any idea what is happening?

    Thanks in advance ??

    David

  • Hello,

It sounds like this issue is directly related to the Redsys plugin. I’d suggest reaching out to the plugin developer for further assistance.

If you are using Pasarela Redsys para WooCommerce, you have access to our support team at WooCommerce.com. Please contact us at?WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support, and we’ll be happy to help you there.

    Thanks for your answer!

I’m using the module from the official Redsys page and not from the WordPress repository.
I have spoken with the Redsys technical service and the problem doesn’t come from the module. They don’t add nothing to the order number.

I deactivated all the plugins except WooCommerde and Redsys and the numbering keeps appearing for some reason

    Hi @banderlok

Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

We’ve not heard back from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread as resolved. Hopefully, you were able to find a solution to your problem! If you have further questions, please feel free to open a new topic.
