order number custom prefix

    Hi,
    I use the order numbers feature of the free plugin. I use a prefix 2020RDD and have changed that to 2021RDD. Now all the previous orders of 2020 have been changed too and that’s not what I want. I would have known this if I watch the ? info…
    It leaves me with 2 questions:

    1. Is it possible to change the prefix every year with a different prefix, without changing the prefix of the previous received orders? Perhaps with the Booster Plus plugin (or other plugin)?

    2. If this is possible somehow. Is it possible to change back the current wrong prefix for orders of 2020 and keep the numbering of new orders of 2021 as well?

    Hi @jramerman

    You can set this but the format will be changed if you want to change it per year. the prefix can be RDD-2021-{order number}. Please check the attached screenshot.

    You can set RDD to “Order Number Custom Prefix” and Y (Year format) to “Order Number Date Prefix”.
