Order number on payment confirmation

  • Hello,

    We are using Stripe plugin with Credit card and EPS payment methods.
    When customer pays with credit card, we can see order number reference in bank statement. When eps is used its not there. I saw that it is default behavior in your plugin https://prnt.sc/cMhklWeSeLbF

    In the meantime our colleague contacted Stripe support, and they told him that is possible on their end, by sending metadata.

    My question is – do you plan to implement it, or is there some workaround for that?

    To clarify, when customers pay with a credit card via Stripe, the WooCommerce order number appears in their bank statement, but it doesn’t show up when they use EPS.

    Is my understanding correct?

    Could you share a screenshot of the bank statement for reference?
    This will help me better understand the issue and assist you further.

    It seems you’re experiencing an issue where the WooCommerce order number appears on customers’ bank statements when they pay via credit card through Stripe, but not when they use EPS.

    From what you described – Stripe has confirmed that it’s currently expected behavior for the order number not to display for EPS payments, as this functionality is not yet supported with the plugin.
