Order Number Reverts to WP Default

    I have used this plugin on other sites no problem. With my new WooCommerce site today I got the correct sequence on first two orders, then on the third order it reverted to WP default. I am using plugin Ver 1.4.8. If I deactivate and remove the plugin then reinstall it fixes all the sequence numbers – until the next order comes through. Very frustrating and unexpected. The WP default number also appears in the admin emails I receive notifying of a new order.

    I read about the functions.php code snippet process – but I was hoping it wasn’t necessary with the 1.4.8 release of the plugin. Please advise if this is the only solution.

    I am using a simple 4-digit numbering (no prefix/suffix) and have not customized any notification emails.

    I am happy to report that using the functions.php code snippet process as explained in an earlier thread (New order numbers are not in sequence – vlohar08) has worked!

    Hi, I have the same problem. Can’t find out what is causing the issue. First two orders correct numbers but after that jumped back to default.
