    Hi,

I recently discovered that when someone buys a product in my store, the order number that is sent to the bank software doesn’t match the order number in WooCommerce.

I use the payment method Redsys and I have contacted their technical support for this issue. They say they can’t do anything because the data that is sent from my store is the one that appears there. So I have to change the format on which the order number is sent.

To give an example, if the order number is 1234, in the bank software is 123z4. I don’t know why but it adds a Z in there.

Does anyone know why this could be happening? I have other stores with the same payment method and it works fine.

  • Hi there @uidigoras ??

Thanks for reaching out! From what I understand, you are managing/owning more than one WooCommerce stores, but this one’s set up is different enough to display a different order number between the store and the bank software.

In order to investigate further, could you check for any difference in the plugins in use between one of your stores that this works as expected, and compare it to the ones in use that the issue arises. What are the differences there?

If comparing the plugins in use between them will not prove fruitful, continue reading.

Furthermore, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.?

Could you also provide us with the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Once you’ve copied each, you can use https://pastebin.com/ for pasting it there and sharing it with us.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
