Order of Authors on Co-authored Books

I am enjoying using your plugin – it is easy to use and does what it says it does.

My client has co-authored several books. For each book it is important to list the authors in the same order as they are listed on the book. The first author is listed first because they have done the most significant work.

This is one recognised protocol (there are others re author order) in the publishing world and it can be regarded as professional rudeness and dishonesty if this protocol is ignored. For this reason, it is important that we have the ability to choose the order in which author names appear on a page through this plugin. It is particularly embarrassing when the book cover used on the website shows the correct order of authors and yet it looks like the author who owns the website has flagrantly ignored this.

My client has requested this as it is important in her profession. Someone else on this forum has also written to you about this issue.

Having this facility will make your plugin even more appealing to use.
