    Hi

I have installed your plugin and set it up and chosen Stripe option for Gateway.

Can we somehow change the order of the fields in this screen that the customer completes ?

Currently order is Card number, then CVV then Customer Name then Expiry date.

My client prefers the CVV to be the last field and NOT the 2nd field to be completed?

Usually the order would be Card Number then Customer Name then Expiry date then CVV …

How can I change this ?

Also as we are linking to Stripe payment gateway through your plugin, Stripe is adding the owner’s mobile number on the Stripe statement, can you advise with this or do I have to contact Stripe directly ?

Also is there an option somewhere to include Stripe fees for the person making the donation to pay the relevant fee attached to Stripe also ?

Is that an option somewhere that I have missed ?\

    Thanks
    Regards
    Kristin

    Hi

I see in the settings of your plugin it says:

Stripe is one of the most popular payment gateways, and for good reason! Receive one-time and Recurring Donations (add-on) using many of the most popular payment methods. Note: the FREE version of Stripe includes an additional 2% fee for processing one-time donations. Remove the fee by installing and activating the premium Stripe add-on.

My client already has a Stripe account. When you refer to the Free Version above which includes a 2% fee for donations, it is not referring to an existing Stripe account I assume ? It is your commission for utilising Stripe as part of your plugin for donations ?

Therefore whilst I am testing I see the fee being charged for your plugin for use of Stripe 2% so to avoid this we have to buy the Premium Stripe add on ? Single license $187 US ?

    Hi,

My client is not happy paying a 2% fee for using the Donation plugin, and then Stripe fee on top. We were not aware that the system deducted this 2% fee firstly, then the Stripe fee.

Usually most Woocommerce Stripe plugins don’t charge extra but I am aware that your plugin is not for Woocommerce which we don’t require.

Please advise urgently when you get a moment.

    Hi Kristin,

You can use Fee Recovery Givewp Add-On for collecting fees as well.

Fee Recovery: Ask your donors to cover the Stripe fees for every donation.

As for the other issue, I also want to re-arrange credit card fields. Let me know if you find any solution.

    Thanks!

    Hi Kristin,

Yes, the free plugin applies a 2% fee — there’s a few options to remove that. We’d love to talk with you about it with our Customer Success team.

Please reach out via our Contact form here:
    https://givewp.com/contact-us

And use the option that says “I am responding to a request to contact you” and refer to this thread here and we’ll help however we can.

    Thanks!

    Hi

    Thanks for replying.

Yes I see there is a Pro version but the client being a non-profit organisation does not want to pay that costing per year.

Is that my only option ?

    @kristinubute,

Right now, this is one of the things we need to keep GiveWP free for everybody. Another option is for you to use PayPal Donations, for example, that we do not have an application fee. If you need to use Stripe, the free version will have the application fee, but the premium version will remove it.

We are not allowed to discuss premium options here, so we are happy to have further discussions about it https://givewp.com/contact-us ??

Thanks for using GiveWP! Have a great day.

    Thanks for that.
I submitted a ticket on that link last night just waiting on a reply.
