order pages by ID in manage pages?

Hi,

The page order is right on my website. But it is confusing in the admin panel under “manage pages”. I would like to order them by ID there too.

(It would be more logical to have the pages in the same order as they appear on the menu, don’t you think?)

I suggest this becomes the default setting for WP. Also, and in the meantime, I would like to know how to patch this setting for myself.
