    Hi team,

    I am using this plugin and want to know if updating tracking details changes the order status?

    I have configured custom order status, Shipped. So whenever I update tracking details using this plugin and set order status to shipped, the status remains shipped for the some time. Later same status changing to Completed automatically.

    Hello there,
    we hope you’re doing well!

    Our free version of the plugin does not change order statuses nor does it add custom statuses. This only happens with the premium version, which provides the option to pass the orders to “Completed” status when the “the Order picked up by Carrier” option is activated in the order.

    What version do you have installed?

    Hi @juaancmendez ,

    I am using Version 2.15.0?(Free) and below custom code I am using to add additional order status.

    When the shipment is ready to ship, I set the order status from Processing to Ready to Ship (no issue).

    But when I set the order status from Ready to Ship to Shipped along with tracking code setup using YITH WooCommerce Order & Shipment Tracking, the Order status changed to Completed after a few minutes.

    When I again set the order status from Completed to Ready to Ship for the orders whose status changed automatically then it remains as it is.

    Hello there,

    I just tested your code by replicating the actions you perform, and at no time does the order go to Completed status. That is, when the order is in the ‘Ready to ship’ status, and I pass it to the ‘Shipped’ status together with the shipping data from our plugin, the status ends up being correct (Shipped).

    So the problem is probably caused by another plugin. I recommend you do the same test leaving only WooCommerce active, our plugin and a default WordPress theme like 2023.
