Order Status for COD orders

Hi I am using Smart COD plugin to add COD gateway on checkout (Woocommerce). We are also unsing Omnisend for email sending. We have problem since the COD and bank transfer orders are using basically the same Order Status Changes. COD orders are being passed to Omnisend as if they are bank transfers. Is it possible to change how the Order Status is Changed for COD orders?

If nothing is possible they are suggesting a plugin to add an order tag to orders depending on the payment method.
