Order status & “processing renewal order” email

We’re experiencing problems with the automatic WooCommerce e-mails when processing renewal payments through SEPA with Mollie’s recurring payments.
The automatic “processing renewal order” e-mail, sent to the customer upon succesful payment, is not sent for recurring renewal orders paid for with a recurring payment through SEPA. For renewals using credit card for their recurring payment there seems to be no problem.
I suspect this is linked to the way statusses are updated in the SEPA recurring payment process.
This is problematic for us, since we’re automatically attaching PDF Invoices to these processing renewal order e-mails. If the mail is not sent, the invoice is not generated (and the client does not receive any).
