    Hello,

    Is there there a way to turn order status automatically to “processing” instead of “On hold” when the charge type is “authorize” and not “capture” ?

    Thank you so much!

    Hi @moussaab,

    If all of your products are authorized then you can just use the Order Status option on each payment gateway’s setting page. Set it to processing and you will get the desired result.

    If some order’s are authorized and others captured, you can use filter “wc_stripe_authorized_order_status” to control the order’s status when it’s captured.

    Hi @mrclayton and thanks for your reply.

    Would this also work for Paypal as well? I am sorry I know this is out of your plugin’s score but I would really appreciate your help.

    Paypal plugin offers to authorize payment instead of capture but it sets the order status to “on hold” and there is no option to change that on the plugin’s settings page.

    Thank you so much

    Hi @moussaab

    I can’t speak to the functionality or options available in another plug-in. I recommend you reach out to the developers of your PayPal plugin and ask them how to achieve this effect.

    Kind regards

    @mrclayton I understand, thank you.

    Regarding Przelewy24, the payments are “on hold” even when they have been captured on Stripe. Is that normal?

    I could not find the “athorize” option for P24 so I am not sure why this happens.

    Thank you
