    Hi!

    We updated your plugin 7.4.1. today.

    I noticed that below woocommerce – orders, all orders that used to say “being processed” now says “waiting for payment”. Why is this? A bit worried about how this will affect things.

    I understand all orders that had “Processing” status switched to “Waiting for Payment” after the update.

    It’s usually up to the payment plugin to decide the order’s status after a successful payment.

    Can you please attach the following to help us understand the problem?

    • A screenshot of the order notes of an affected order. You can use Snipboard.

    • The link of the payment gateway plugin used for these orders.
    • Your site’s system status report. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response or in a Gist.
    • It’s also worth checking if there are any fatal error logs from WooCommerce > Status > Logs and choosing from the drop-down menu the fatal-errors.log option.

    Hello!

    I don’t feel comfortable providing screenshots or system reports in this open forum. Can I reach you some other way?

    We are using Svea checkout for Woocommerce as our payment plugin. I am in contact with them as well but so far the issue has not been resolved.

    All I know is that we updated plugins on the 21st of march between 9 and 10 am. Before that I had never seen an order with the status “waiting for payment”. Now all of the sudden I have 85 orders with this status, dating back to the 7th of march.

    I have made two purchases myself today, with invoice as my payment option. They both worked fine and I got the status “processing”, as I would like. So I really cannot replicate the issue, but obviously something weird is going on.

    Is there any update you have done to the plugin that might be related to this?

    The system status report doesn’t have any sensitive information other than the site URL, however, you can always upload it to a Gist and delete it once we’re done with it. Same with screenshots and something like Google Drive.

    That said, since you’re using a third-party payment gateway then please continue working with them for now.

    If this also happens with COD, Stripe or other payment gateways then please let us know.
