    Hi @kelixirr,

    Thanks for the feedback.

    The order summary on mobile can be seen at any time by clicking the cart button on the page header, and when reaching the last step of the checkout process which is usually the payment step. The cart button however is only visible on mobile when using the?distraction-free?header and footer templates on the checkout page.

    The reason it is displayed briefly on mobile is because the styles which hide the section on mobile are taking a bit too long to be loaded.

    We will fix the styles so that it hides the order summary section immediately when loading the page so it does not appear briefly and then disappears. I let you know here once an update is available.

    Also, we have plans to add an option to plugin to show an additional section above the checkout steps for the order summary on mobile devices, but there is no ETA for when we will add this option.

    I have “upvoted” that task for you in our internal systems, as we prioritize tasks with higher number of requests.

    1. For now, you could set the checkout page to use the distraction-free header and footer templates so that the cart button is displayed for mobile devices.

    • Go to WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Fluid Checkout > Checkout;
    • Locate the section “Header and footer” at the top of the settings page;
    • Set the option “Header and footer templates” as “Distraction free header and footer”;
    • Save your changes.

    Best,
    Diego.

    Yeah, I think that is the only way at the moment to fix this issue. If cart items will get vanished on the mobile devices then users won’t be able to know if there item has been added. It would be very confusion for them if they are the first time customer. Additionally, distraction mode has one downside, it hides the header and footer which may raise the same concern for the customer like if they should trust the website” and it may confuse them.

    One more thing I have noticed that if a user is already registered on the website and he is trying to purchase something and if he enters wrong credentials, he will have to repeat the login process once again, which can be frustrating. Maybe you can show a message like “Maybe you lost your password so fix it or maybe you want to try again” or the best thing you can do is include the validation message in the login pop itself that way they can retry or reset their password. This will reduce the number of steps they have to do. Similar features can be implemented in billling form, like if a user enters wrong zip code it should be validated immediately not after he clicks on the pay now. Whats happening is the validation takes place only after final step, it can be reduced to each step that would further enhance the experience.

    I am looking forward to these improvements as it is far better the default one!

    Hi @kelixirr,

    Based on the research we used before creating Fluid Checkout, having a distraction-free header and footer helps customers to focus on the checkout form and avoid cart abandonments. To avoid customers perceiving the distraction-free checkout as being a different website, you can try to style the checkout header as similar as possible to the original header of your website.

    In any case, after we add the option to show the order summary at the top (as mentioned in my previous message), you will be able to revert to use the original header on the checkout page as well.

    We will take a look at the other things you reported and will let you know once updates are available.

    Best,
    Diego.
