Hello, a few months ago I started experiencing slowness when editing registrations and products and orders.

It was chaos, I did everything and NOTHING solved it, that’s when I found your plugin and by a stroke of “magic” everything started working again quickly, wonderful!

HOWEVER, I left Woo running on version 8.7.0 for a long time, and yesterday, I decided to update to version 8.8.3 and due to my SADNESS, now, I CANNOT EVEN open an order.

I tried to optimize the DB, returned the keys through your plugin to the default keys, applied the improvements again and NOTHING changed.

I even opened support in Woo and thought 2 things:
1- Or Woo did something about it that your plugin no longer works in this version.
2- Or perhaps you would need some update to your plugin to make it functional and compatible with Woo 8.8.3.

Do you think it would be possible to help me?

Now I’m probably going to roll back the Woo version to 8.7.0 to see if this can be resolved.

My client will go crazy if he tests and is unable to open the orders, I tried, and the server gets an error, sad =/

If you can help, I would be very grateful.

Because your plugin is incredible and saved me.

    HI @olliejones !

My knowledge is not as advanced as my colleagues here.

Let me see if I got it:
Using your new fats-woo-order-lookup plugin and updating Woo 8.8.3 my orders would load again, is that it?

And if Woo makes this fix in the next version, do I still need it or should I continue using the fast-woo-order-lookup plugin?

Yes, this new plugin will fix your order loading problem in 8.8.3.

The fix the WooCommerce people made for 8.9.0 will not fix your problem, and the one they’ve scheduled for 9.0.0 will fix the problem. The fix I made in my plugin will disable itself automatically when they fix their problems.

And, this new plugin of mine will speed up your order search function too.

That slowness in loading orders was introduced in Woo Commerce 8.9.0 I believe.

They tried something they thought would fix in in 8.9.3, but that fix was insufficient.

    It is fixed in 9.0.0.

This plugin fixes the problem in 8.9.0 – 9.0.0. https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/fast-woo-order-lookup/

It also fixes a problem having to do with searching for order.
