    Hi,

Not sure if it is an issue or not, but I will type out the issue here anyway.

I wanted to create a new Order in the Woocommerce Order page (the backend). Then I fill in the details there and calculate the Order total. The total is displaying properly on the Order page, together with the Tax and Shipping cost.

Only the Cart Subtotal and the Tax is displaying. But the Order Total is not displaying in the Invoice.

On the other hand, whenever people make order on the website (frontend), at the end of the cart, the invoice is displaying all info, Cart Subtotal and Order total.

May I know what’s wrong with the Order Total in the invoice?

    Regards,
    Chris

    Hi Chris,
Can you check whether the order total is displayed in the default WooCommerce emails? Have you pressed “Calculate totals” and then saved the order before creating the invoice?

    Hi,

So sorry for the late reply. Yes, I did press the Calculate Total since the invoice cannot be generated without saving the order. But the total is still not displaying. I have attached the screenshot here.

    Thank you,

    Hello Chris,
Can you check whether the order total is displayed in the default WooCommerce emails? If not, then this means the issue lies somewhere else.

If it is displayed there, then I suspect an incompatibility with a plugin, possibly the Deposit plugin (as that’s displayed in the PDF but not a standard WooCommerce feature/output). What happens if you output to HTML (status tab) and inspect the source? Do you see the total there?

    Hi,

May I know where the default WooCommerce emails are at? I dont think I see this in the dashboard.

Is it supposed to email once the order is made? If so, I dont see any invoice sent to my email after I tested in the dashboard.

Can you explain more on the output to HTML part? I am not sure how it works. Many thanks.

    Hi Chris,
You may need to enable the WooCommerce emails in WooCommerce > Settings > Email (the select the email corresponding to your status). You can then send the email manually via the order actions in the top right of the edit order screen, or automatically by changing the status of the order (to completed or processing for example).

To output to HTML, you have to go to the status tab of the plugin settings, and enable HTML output there. Instead of creating a PDF, the plugin will then output to the browser, so you can check for errors/bugs.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi,

It seems that the Order total is not displaying there in the HTML page. For the email, I did not get any invoice sent from the backend.

So is the issue somewhere around? I am not so sure on how to fix these issue. Many thanks.

    Hi,

My apologies! The email was sent to my spam! So yes, the email is sending normally. But the Order Total is not displaying in the email as well as the invoice too.

But the deposit is needed to make partial payment too. So I cannot disable the Deposit. How will I fix this? Or is it something to do with the codes?

    Many thanks,
    Chris

    Hi Chris,
You will need to contact the developer of the Deposit plugin, and tell him that the order total is not displaying correctly. Make sure to tell him that this also happens in the default WooCommerce emails, so that he knows that it’s not an issue with the PDF plugin.

    Hope that helps!
