• Hello there,

    I’ve just started to use GTM and I integrated my Ecommerce website with your plugin.
    It looks like an amazing plugin! I’m experiencing some issues though.
    This is how the layout appears to me: https://prnt.sc/ni9l12

    But the biggest issue is about the order tracking. For whatever reason, Google Analytics tracks the orders twice.

    I tried with the preview of GTM and everything seems good, so I’m not sure what’s causing this. Can it be the plugin version? I see it’s stucked on version 5.0.4

    Hi,

    I placed a test order on your site: #14758
    It was tracked once, after reloading the page, ecommerce data was missing which is the expected behavior.

    Can you check your duplicate orders to see which device they are coming from? I am aware of an issue on mobile devices, I wonder if your orders are coming from there?

    thank you for your answer!
    I made a change: under the “Integration” tab, the “Track classic e-commerce” and “Track enhanced e-commerce” options were both checked. Yesterday I unchecked the “Track classic e-commerce” option. Can the issue be related to the two checked options?
    I saw your order and it’s been perfectly tracked on Google Analytics. I’ll wait for other orders to have further confirmation.

    About the devices, I’m gonna tell you more details later as long as I have time to dig in it.

    Hi,

    If you select both options but only setup enhanced ecommerce tracking (thus you do not add a separate GA tag with track type set to transactions) this will not cause double tracking of transactions.

    so I checked the devices and they all were desktop, so the issue wasn’t related to it.
    It looks like I solved the problem by following your advices.

    I checked the admin layout with WordPress 5.1.1 but for me it shows up correctly on all site that I have access to.

    I do not have any fixed ETA for the next version, but I do my best to have it ready soon.
