    Hi, as of last week, since the last update I did, automatic SEPA payments trigger two payments instead of just one. So I have clients paying double. Any thoughts on this?

  • We have the same problem it seems. Orders are now double booked (Mollie is our PSP). Did you manage to fix it / have more information? Thanks!

    I’ve been in touch with Mollie over the phone. Their developers are working on a fix. If there is an update on the issue I guess they will post that here. If in the mean time I get more info, I will post it.

    We regret the trouble with the subscription renewal payments in the latest update. This issue should be resolved with the latest update 7.3.3.

    I just updated to 7.3.3. and my test subscription will renew tomorrow on 09:44, hope this is fixed. How was this possible? What if we had massive subscriptions? Unreal.

    We regret the trouble caused by this problem. It should be resolved in the latest version. The testing pipeline for the next updates has been extended with more cases to more effectively prevent problems of this kind from happening.
    The bug was introduced with performance improvements a few updates before, and caused the gateway to hook itself to the payment subscription hook on creation.
    One of the services was not using the cached instances of the gateways, but calling the method that creates the gateways instead. This led to calling the payment hook for subscription payments twice, which may resulted in double charge for renewal payments.

    If you were affected by this, the official Mollie support can provide further guidance, but this should be rectified automatically from Mollie’s end.
