Several months ago I had opened this topic (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-have-uploaded-files-show-in-order-details/), regarding customer’s uploaded file not showing up in the order detail page’s Order Uploaded Files. This issue was fixed in 4.6.0.

Recently, I’ve been having problems with the file uploading problem on some devices when the file upload field is set to required (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/upload-file-problem-7/) . For the time being I have unchecked the field as required and so the native file uploading (taking a picture on the spot when prompted after clicking the upload file button) works.

When I tried to check the order details to make sure the file is uploaded properly, it again is in the media library but not in the order details.

In the Order Details page, beside the file upload section (in my case, Photo ID), there is an ID (ex. 8691). However, the file in the media library is named something entirel different, so it’s very difficult to identify which photo ID belongs to which customer’s order.

Previously, I was instructed to go Woocommerce > Checkout > Order to update some settings, but right now I can’t find the Order section under Woocommerce > Checkout.

    Please Advise! Thanks!

UPDATE: After some more testing, I just realized that with native file upload, the file gets uploaded into media library, but the Photo ID section doesn’t even appear in the Order Details page. Only when a file is uploaded from the phone’s media storage will it appear with an ID in the Order Details page.
