Confirmation after buying product??

    So this plugin is working nicley for me but i have a question regarding after someone already buys your producs.. So where do i see it as a developer, or how do i know where to ship my product? Other commercial plugins have those options but its to complicated for user.. This plugin with just button is very nice for me, but I want to know if what i am asking is possible

    Hi Jure,

    The Pro version sends out emails to you when the sale is complete – https://wpplugin.org/wp-content/uploads/edd/2016/08/wpplugin.org_2016-08-06_13-53-42-1024×867.png – that may be of interest to you.

    With the free version, you can setup a notification in PayPal to get an email when a sale is made.

    I was also wondering this for a clients website. If I don’t use the pro version, how do you set up that notification on Paypal to get the confirmation email?

    Hi Joe,

    The free version of the plugin doesn’t have IPN (PayPal’s Instant Payment Notification) system built in. So you would have to custom code that on top of the free version.

    Thanks for the reply. When you said ‘With the free version, you can setup a notification in PayPal to get an email when a sale is made.’ in an earlier reply to someone else, is the custom code the solution? That sounds a bit complicated so it would probably be best to get the pro version.

    Hi Joe,

    Sorry for the confusion. You can setup PayPal to send an email out to you when you receive a payment – that isn’t related to the plugin at all. That is in your PayPal.com account settings.

    For the plugin, if you want to have it send out an email to your customers and you when a sale is made (or show the sale in your WordPress dashboard), you need the pro version or you need to custom code it yourself if you want to use the free version.

    I just realised that this is only a setting when Paypal is in live mode and not sandbox mode. I’ve sorted it out now!
