    When a customer places an order with Amazon pay, we will be notified that the order has failed.
    We have introduced Amazon pay on our WordPress Woocommerce.
    When a customer places an order with Amazon pay payment, we will receive notification email “failed order”&“new order”.

    We were able to confirm that the customer successfully completed the payment with Amazon pay in the transaction management of Amazon pay.

    Why do We get “failed order” email?
    Order at our company → Customer logs in on Amazon pay → Payment
    Is it due to a time lag?

    Any feedback appreciated.

    Yes, When a customer places an order with Amazon pay, failed orders always being created.

    were you able to reproduce the issue on a staging site?

    try to check the following link conflict test on a Staging site, could be some plugin or even the Theme you are using. We need to isolate the problem first.

    @kimura000’s situation is the same as mine. I’ve done a conflict test but the result is the same.

    I asked Amazon but they said they have no error about this transaction. And there is no same error with other payments, Stripe or Cash on delivery.
