Orderby Posts plugin per Category

I’m actually surprised this does not exist, or at least I have not found a plugin yet that can do this, but here goes…

You create (or have an existing) category. A plugin that adds a setting to the category edit screen that lets you set the post order.

Does anyone know of a plugin that does this? I know I can create a custom query, but it would be more flexible if a plugin exists for this capability.
