Orderby “rand” doesn’t work

So far this plugin does what I need! It’s great, but I’m encountering one problem: I need the list to be random, and orderby=”rand” doesn’t seem to work.
I have the following shortcode in use:
[fpc_post_grid limit=”8″ show_author=”false” show_category_name=”false” show_date=”false” orderby=”rand” grid=”4″ image_height=”100%”]When I load the page, it lists the images in the same order every time. Am I doing something wrong?
