Ordering from “buy it now” button isnt charging shipping

Can you provide us with more details if this happens when you disable the Printify extension?

Are you able to see shipping rates when that other extension is disabled?

Additionally, please share your current System Status Report. You can get it by navigating to the WooCommerce / Status section of your site. Once there, click on the Get system report button and then copy it by clicking on the Copy for support button. Then paste it here in a comment.

If I disable the printify option and add a shipping option through woocommerce, it is still not showing the shipping on the buy it now and when I go through the cart page, it will show shipping with the printify on, but say there is no options with the printify off.

So, $0 fee for shipping is displaying when it shouldn’t, is that correct?

Can you please provide me a step-by-step guide to replicate, please include:
– the product name, direct link to the product to add to cart
– the product quantity to add to cart
– a valid shipping address
– rates that you get if you get some
– rates that you expects
– A screenshot of your shipping zones

Do you have a built-in shipping method such as Cash on delivery enable?

This happens to any item in my store that I’ve tried.

I click on the item click “buy it now” and it isn’t charging the shipping.
but if I choose the actual add to cart button and go to my cart, it is charging shipping.

Each item is charged a different amount for shipping, depending on how much it costs to ship (Printify takes care of this amount). This one, in the add to cart option says it cost $3.80 to ship to 2342 beaver street, eugene, OR 97404

I do not have cash on delivery enabled

I would prefer printify to do the calculations, since they are the one actually shipping the item and I don’t want the shipping to eat at my profit) I was just hoping that actually specifying an actual shipping cost that it might fix the problem, but nothing changed.

Thanks for the additional information.

From what you describe, the shipping costs in the Cart page are added by Printify and not using the standard shipping zones of WooCommerce.

I did a test with the product you shared and I see USD 3.8 getting correctly added for a US address by clicking the buy now button

Please note that this option will only show shipping zones and methods that are specified within
**WP Admin → WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping** and for each zone within there.

I do not seem to see the Printify method being added there (only flat rate and free shipping). That’s the reason it will not show any Printify calculated shipping costs on the Buy now button.

Please check with Printify support, if they have a way to insert their shipping costs in the Shipping zones and methods of WooCommerce shipping settings.

ahh thank you so much, that makes me realize the problem. I had my shipping address on there but i never chose the “choose” button. once i actually choose the address the shipping shows up correctly.
