ordering images in a gallery

  • I am trying to order the images that I posted in a gallery but I can’t do it . The directions in my manual say to fill in the “order text form” in the gallery tab.
    I don’t find the”gallery tab” in the “edit post” section and I don’t find the form.
    Does somebody know what is the problem and how to order images?

    sorry for the late reply. I was out of town!
    I post an images in a gallery and I don’t have the option of putting the image or the images that I already posted in the order I want.

    What gallery system are you using? As I understand it, you can’t exactly edit a gallery through a post. There should be a separate link in the dashboard that has to do with galleries, and through there you can manage a gallery and the order of your images.

    according to my manual when you go to “edit post” you have a gallery section that allows you to change the order of the images.
    What do you mean when you say: “What gallery system are you using?”
    Sorry, I am new with WordPress and “a bit” slow!
