• Hi, I use the woocommerce plugin for wordpress and I have a shopping cart problem. When ordering, after entering all the required fields with the buyer’s data, then clicking “buy and pay” pops up the message “Ordering is not possible if the basket is empty.” Despite the fact that the products in the basket are in it, they disappear at this stage.

When I enter orders, I see them with the status: on hold (waiting for payment). No emails to me or the client go out.

I don’t know what could be the reason. Please help.

I am using betheme-muffin group and the newest woocommerce

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @rafszr,

Sorry to hear about the trouble there. We definitely want your customers to be able to check out!

I went to your site and tried to check it. It did direct me to PayPal and the amount matched what I had on your checkout page.

Hopefully, that means you’ve been able to resolve this. If you’re still having trouble this could be the result of caching on the site. Make sure the cart, checkout and account pages are all excluded from any caching plugins or caching built into the server.

Outside of that, you may want to set up a staging site. That’s a copy of the live site you can test on. What you’d want to do there is temporarily disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and switch to the Twenty Nineteen theme. Then see if you can checkout. If you can, then try turning the other plugins and theme back on, testing as you go. The last item activated before the problem starts again will point to where the trouble is coming from.

If you have any questions, let me know.

    Cheers

    Hello Three Sons,
Paypal and przelewy24 is working fine, but problem happens when user is choosing 3rd option of payment which is traditional payment on my account, not via any money transfer operator

    Hi @rafszr,

Thank you for the clarification. I tested checking out with direct transfer on your site and see that it does not process correctly.

Let’s make sure this is not a theme or plugin conflict with WooCommerce.

First, backing up your live site before any testing and updates is highly recommended. If you would prefer not to do testing on your live site, first make a back up of your site, then create a staging site using this plugin WP Staging. This creates a copy of your live site where you can make tests without affecting your live site.

Temporarily switch your theme to one of our default – Storefront or Twenty Nineteen, then deactivate all plugins except for one – WooCommerce. If it shows correctly, then it’s a theme or plugin conflict. Reactivating each plugin one at a time, then see if the issue pops up again will tell us which plugin is conflicting.

    Thanks,
    Y

    Hi!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,
