Ordering of Courses

I know that learndash will order the course list by publication date by default so up until a recent update I could manipulate the profile courses list by changing the course publication date. I can no longer do this.
No matter what changes I make to a course, course date, attribute settings, the course list remains the same under the courses tab in the buddypress profile area.
Any thoughts on this issue? I have contacted learndash and this is apparently a buddypress issue.
