    Hi, A few days ago we detected that some already payment orders have disappeared from the order list in Woocommerce.
    We have the plugin woocommerce admin https://es.www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-admin/ and if a search the client we can see the order. So I deduce that for some reason the orders disappeared only from the woocommerce order database.

    I have contacted the Woocommerce team first and they tell me to also contact you in case the plugin could be the cause of the issue.
    We are very concerned with this issue.
    Can you please help me with that?

    Hey @triplej thanks for reaching out! This plugin would not cause orders to go missing from your WooCommerce order list — it changes the order number only, which has no impact on the visibility of orders.

    My best guess on why this is happening sounds like these orders may have used a custom status that is no longer available. Have you ever used order status plugins or added custom order statuses to the site?

    Hello @skyvergesupport thanks for the reply. Do you think this may be the cause of the problem? Yes we have a plugin for custom status in our site: https://mundopetit.cl. In fact we use the official Woocommerce plugin:https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-order-status-manager/ (pro version). Made for your team! We deactivated the plugin because we have and issue with the plugin. I have opened a ticket on your website.
    We are really very concerned with this

    Hey @triplej, deactivating the plugin could pose issue if you haven’t updated orders using your custom statuses. If you’d like to keep Order Status Manager deactivated, we would recommend first:
    (a) activate the plugin temporarily,
    (b) filter orders by your custom status, and
    (c) bulk update these orders to use a core status (like “processing” or “on-hold”).

    This will ensure that these orders are found by WooCommerce without the plugin.

    Could you let me know if activating Order Status Manager made these orders accessible again? If so, you can follow the flow I mentioned to ensure they use a core status and will remain visible without Order Status Manager.
