• I’ve noticed that Orders placed on my WooCommerce site are somehow being timestamped.

One area where I notice this is happening is when pulling reports. I pull monthly sales data reports for accounting purposes. The data produced from WooCommerce is always a little bit off from the same time period pulled from our PayPal account. Additionally, clicking on the tab “Last Month” and pulling a report, will show data for that month, but it will be missing the final day of the month, and also the last day of the previous month. For example, pulling a report of March will include the dates Feb 28th through Mar 30th.

Another area error appears is in our order fulfillment platform, ShipStation. While I can only find the error appearing in the “Order Date” and “Date Paid” Columns of information, I’ve been able to pinpoint the number of hours difference which causes an error (hence me thinking this is a time zone issue. It appears that orders placed from 5pm (17:00 PDT) on (we’re located in the US Pacific time zone) will appear in ShipStation showing the next days date.

For example, say a customer places an order at 5:01pm (17:01 PDT) on a Saturday. The order would show up immediately in ShipStation with the “Order Date” and “Date Paid” showing Sunday. However, going into the the specific order details in WooCommerce will show the correct time and date, and the correct time and date in paypal as well.

I know this is not a ShipStation issue as we have contacted them regarding this, AND the error is also a problem in the reporting part of WooCommerce as well.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
