    Hello,

    I often have to manually enter custom orders in with the status “Pending Payment”. The problem is, when the customer pays, their order gets marked as complete and totally skips processing.

    I’m using Stripe as a gateway and there are no options in there that control this.

    I tested on another staging site and the same issue happens:

    Order status changed from Pending payment to Completed.

    Can anyone offer a solution to resolve this?

    PS: I’m using “WooCommerce Stripe Gateway”

    Figured it out. It’s because there was no actual product added to the order, only fees — hence nothing to process.

    I created a generic product for custom orders… Problem solved,
