Orders have exceeded the limit

Hey @cosmicjamie,

We have seen another report that described the behavior you are seeing, but haven’t gotten additional debug info to help track it down.

If you have the latest version of the plugin, could you go to the WooCommerce Status Report and copy the output here so we can get a look at the settings and possibly any plugins that might also be installed?

We’ll see if we can replicate it locally and have a fix out as soon as possible. If you could also drop another round of the report details when the order count goes over the limit, that may also help pin down whether we’re having a problem with the limit calculation or the conditional that determines when to hide the add to cart button.

Sorry if I’m misunderstanding you here – the order count has already exceeded the limit. If I go into reports and show only orders for today, it currently sits at 122.

Interesting. So it looks like our calculation of what a day means may not be the same as the WooCommerce report.

Based on the status report, the day is set to start at UTC + 1, and since then there have only been 8 orders.

Based on your orders, does that appear correct or are we missing orders since midnight?

According to the Orders section of WooCommerce, there are 128 orders since 10:52 this morning.

Oddly though, the Reports section of WooCommerce shows only 122 orders placed for the 17th April.

@cosmicjamie,

I think those numbers aren’t so far off that they can’t be reconciled. The Orders section may include refunds and cancelled orders. So if there’s 122 orders + 6 refunds, it would show 128 total in the Order section.

Just to confirm I’m looking at the right report, I’m assuming this is the new WC Admin repoort in Analytics -> Orders, and not the Sales by Date from the WooCommerce Reports section, correct?

I had been getting this data from WooCommerce > Reports > Sales by Date.

I have now gone in via Analytics > Orders > Date Range (Today) and the resulting figure is 122 orders for the day.

Apologies for any confusion!

I believe we’ve tracked the source of this to a default limit on one of the queries. We’re writing the automated test now to confirm it and the fix and should have a new release out later today.
