Orders not showing quantities in the back end

Hey there,

I understand that customers are setting a quantity and paying for the correct amount – but that that quantity isn’t showing up in the order details. Is the stock being updated correctly?

I checked this on my test site to see if I could replicate, but the quantity is showing up correctly:

Thanks for sharing that system status log. I checked through and there aren’t any obvious red flags. I’d recommend checking into updating your theme template overrides, e.g.:

Overrides: numbat/woocommerce/archive-product.php version 2.0.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.4.0

The order page itself isn’t overridden, so won’t be causing this trouble. Either way, it’s worth looking into updating these as you may see some strange behavior in the future. Here’s a good place to get started:

In regards to the order quantity not showing in the order screen, this indeed very likely a conflict.

This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. If you already suspect your theme, then that’s a good place to start. Otherwise, here’s how to do a conflict test:

The best way to determine this is to:

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Just as a side note though, I have already changed theme’s, deactivated all plugins except W.C and so on to no avail.

Would it be worth testing the site on a staging environment, or would that just yield the same results?

That’s odd that you’ve already done a conflict test and that didn’t solve the problem. It could be worth trying it on a staging site – you could then try things like switching theme, re-installing WooCommerce, etc., without affecting your live site.

If your host doesn’t offer that option, we recommend WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.
