Orders not working sometimes!

I understand that after the Complete Order button was clicked, the site seems to load all the time and gets stuck. Hence, the customer thinks that the order is unsuccessful making them to order 2-3 times or sometimes give up. However, you were unable to replicate the issue on your end using different browsers and devices, correct?

As a first step, can you please share if this is happening to one customer only or for all of your customers?

Checking your site’s checkout page, I can see three payment options here. Is this happening to all of the payment gateways listed or for specific gateway only?

I placed an order on your site using Cash on Delivery and the order was successful. Please disregard this order number once received.

Inspecting your site’s checkout page, I am not seeing any console errors on my end too.

For us to investigate your issue further, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Thanks for sharing the System Status Report!

From what I understand, this is an intermittent issue which you are unable to reproduce on your end, correct?

Intermittent issues can be difficult to decipher, however it is possible that caching is causing the loading issue.

As a first step, I’d suggest reaching out to the host and asking them to ask them to make sure that your cart and checkout pages are excluded from being cached.

Additionally, can you navigate to WooCommerce → Status → Tools and see if doing the following perhaps resolves the issue going forward:

• WooCommerce transients – Clear
• Expired transients – Clear
