I am testing my staging site and have completed a few orders. When I go to the admin panel and click on orders it takes me to a page with a table that is blank. It has rows for data but they are empty, and no headings above to even see what data should be displaying. When a new test order goes through another blank row is added to the table. When you click on the row it takes you to the purchase and gives all the data on the individual page. Why would my orders page and table not be working? I deactivated and now reactivated all the plugins and the issue didn’t go away. I also tested the theme twenty seventeen. Is this something you can help me with.

  • Deactivate all other plugins but not woocommerce. Problem still occurs?

    Yes, I tried that.

Deactivate all plugins but WooCommerce core and switch to twenty seventeen at the same time. Then perform a new test order using a default gateway like “Check Payments”.

Tried that just now and it is the same. There is a blank row with only a checkbox on the left, but nowhere to even click on it to get details, and no information about who bought or what they bought…

Could you take a screenshot of this error you are seeing when viewing the order? (pending there is no sensitive information).

I recommend https://snag.gy for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL here. It works with Chrome, Firefox and IE.

There is something hijacking the orders area. The whole “reminders” language is coming from something else.

Please double check that you test this while deactivating all plugins except for WooCommerce the main plugin. And temporarily switch to a default WP theme at the same time. If the issue still happens at that point, take another screenshot.

This is the correct screenshot. (I had tested it like you said and nothing changed but had already reactivated everything when I got the request for the screenshot.) Can you help?

There may be one phantom order. If you click on the trash tab, do you see the trashed orders? And/or if you manually create a new order, does it show up?

And then secondly, have you done any database merging / transferring? How was the staging site created?

Nope that was an order I tested. Now I manually added an order and it looks the same.

The staging site was created by pulling from production before we created anything for WooCommerce.

There isn’t even anywhere to click and see individual order details.

Okay, couple of things to try:

    1) Use a different browser you never use otherwise. This will help rule out browser extensions.

    2) Check “Screen Options” in the top right. Try changing the posts per page setting to something like 12 to see what happens.

    3) Create a new admin account, and login with that to see if the issue still happens.

screen options! thank you. I kept thinking maybe there was a setting I didn’t know about. I didn’t realize there were screen options for that page. Thank you!
