• I have a number of sites on wordpress: aidanwalker.co.uk, theecologyofthesoul.com, https://mindfuldesign.org/, and want to start a new one, badyogi.net. All of them are hosted on UKhost4u. 1) I am confused about www.ads-software.com and wordpress.com – I think aidanwalker.co.uk is on www.ads-software.com but I also have a login for wordpress.com. but when I log in there it doesn’t show any sites at all. 2) I’m trying to log in to admin at aidanwalker.co.uk, password doesn’t work, when I click get new password it tells me it will send an email but it doesn’t. I got a wordfence alert from [email protected] saying someone had tried to renew password – erm, yes, that was me – have tried again but nothing. I upgraded to wordpress 6.6.1 but got stuck with this whole php thing. I THINK I have updated my various plugins but not sure?!?!?!?. 3) I am using wordpress’s block editor to try and create a new page about Bad Yogi on aidanwalker.co.uk because I can’t get to ‘create a new site’. I have made some blocks but it won’t give me the option to preview or publish. Doh …. help! Please !! – Aidan Walker

So neither of your sites is on WordPress.com. If you can use WordPress.com logins, its because you can have SSO plugins that allows logins via 3rd party authorization. I.e. Jetpack allows to login via WordPress.COM (if enabled in settings)

One of the features of the Jetpack plugin is that you can manage your site with WordPress.com’s tools, so it is possible to connect and run a www.ads-software.com site via a WordPress.com account, but overall keep in mind that WordPress.com and www.ads-software.com are two different entities: https://www.ads-software.com/documentation/article/difference-between-wordpress-org-and-wordpress-com/
