• Hello,
First of all, congratulations, this is a great plugin.

I’m using ultimate member for a while and want to move to a next level.

Assume my website is about sports. Some pages are dedicated to football players only. Other pages are dedicated to basketball players only and other pages to rugby players only.

This would be easy to organize with this plugin. However, some of the sportsmen play in the rugby team and in the football team. Others play in in the 3 teams.

How can you organize this in such a way, only people belonging to the right team have access to the corresponding page?
Basically, this is a matrix structure.

Thanks in advance for your help.
    Stef

  • You could create several member directories to feature the players according to their category sports…

Thank you for your quick reply. The real problem is:

how do I indicate someone is a footbalplayer AND a basketball player?

As a matter of fact, he has 2 community roles…..

You could create a menu in your profile form so that your users could select any sports they are players of.

So far so good. But at the end, there are pages I want do display for the football players and hide for the basketball players. The suggested solution does not solve this, does it?

So, basketball player, football player, …. are what you would call ‘user roles’ but I can’t assign more than one user role to a member. Maybe you have a nice workaround?

You can always create conditional rules for every field you want to create for every user role. Or you could create a complete different form for your user roles…
