Hello, I was using SEO Framework on a small site and cloned the site to use as a “template” for other sites. The problem is that:

The URL box never changes – it’s grey and seems to be locked to a “phantom” logo image URL from the original site I cloned. The path folder/file doesn’t even exist anymore, but SEO Framework does not allow me to change that and it’s not updating.

I would really appreciate any help as this problem will be an issue for all 5 cloned sites. Thanks!

EDIT: This is also happening on my other sites (unrelated sites). The logo (hover) preview shows the correct image however the URL in the box is never updated.

    Hello!

The attachment IDs probably didn’t transfer well during the transfer/cloning of the site.

Since we require the attachment ID for the logo, you can only populate it with registered images via the Select Image/Logo buttons — that’s why we disabled (greyed-out) the text field. The “preview” image always shows the image of the URL displayed in the text field, not the ID stored in your database.

To upload a new logo, you must hit “Select Logo” under the input field. If that’s not working correctly, please let me know. Thank you!

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes that’s the problem – it’s not working per your description.

The preview image is correct (based on what I select) but the preview image is not the same as the URL displayed in the text field. Also the text field never changes. It’s “stuck” on a phantom URL that no longer exists.

    Hi Marty,

Sorry for my belated reply. I had to test a few things; yet, everything I tried turned out inconclusive: TSF ignores image IDs correctly when no match is found in the database.

If you’re unable to change the image, the cloner might’ve corrupted some things. It won’t hurt resetting the SEO Settings (there’s a button at the top) and refill the settings again. If that also doesn’t work, your image library might’ve become corrupted, for which I can give no proper solution.
