Organizing the Media Library on the Site

  • Good morning: I am at https://www.historicphilippines.com and I am running version 4 of WordPress. I am starting to run into some problems because of the size of my media library and I know that I need to organize it somehow, but I am completely at a loss as to how to get this done. I have almost 8,000 photos in the library and we add more that 500 to 600 every few weeks. I know I am loading duplicates because I can’t find the original that I want to use. Does anyone have any possible suggestions as to what I could do? I’d really appreciate some input from some of the verterans around. And please remember: as usual, I am not a programmer so I need something real simple.
