I need to display a category tree that the site visitor can see on my WC site. I know there are a few options in settings but couldn't find something to meet my needs there.

To be more specific... The site has about 7000+ products sorted into hundreds of categories and sub categories. So I would need to display say the 50 parent categories in a list and also offer the ability to expand each category to show more.

I did set the option to "show categories" from the dashboard /Appearance/Customize/WooCommerce/Product Catalog. then i selected “Show categories” from Shop Page Display. But I am still getting all the products listed.

I am using the Avada theme but I'm not sure if there is another issue or if Avada is preventing the catalog page rendering as i need it.

Has anyone got this working successfully? Any tips appreciated.
    Is there a way please?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
