• Hi, is there a .po file for translating this theme? I want to use the Origami theme, but on a norwegian-speaking site. I dont want to manually translate each word every time the theme is updated.

  • I am also wondering about this.. I’ve translated the .pot file to norwegian, but the changes won’t update on my website?

Should it have any specific name to work in the theme?

Actually there is a .pot file included in the theme.

If you have a program like Poedit it will help you out. ??

I know, I’ve already translated it, but it won’t change on the frontpage.

Any ideas? Should it still be named origami.po or nb_NO.po?

There is a difference between .pot, .po and .mo files actually. The .pot is the template file used to create the .po and .mo files.

So when you want to use a different language you would use the correct one. So if I were to use Spanish I would use: es_ES.po and es_ES.mo

Do keep in mind that you will have to change that setting in your config.php file.

I know, I have nb_NO both .po & .mo in my theme language folder, but still it won’t change some minor translations.. Maybe it’s because of some other theme or plugin I have..

But thank you for your contribution ??
