Original file disappeared and other issues

    Guys, some problems I’ve found with your plugin

    1. it deleted not only thumbnails, but also some ORIGINAL FILES.

    2. I looked at the backup you generated but not all original files/folders were there – like the ones I was missing. I’m glad I still had them somewhere else, so I could recover them.

    3. After running your plugin, some images have just disappeared from the post. The weird thing is, when I go to the uploads folder, the image still exists. Not only that, I’ve tried to insert the same image again (with full size, trying to avoid any thumbnail problem) and now I see the alt text and when I click on it, the image opens up. but on the post itself I cannot see it!

    I’ve tried regenerating thumbnails once again to check it the problem could be fixed with that but it doesn’t work.

    Can you please take a look and check what solution can I have for this? It’s just weird because the image does exist!

    the alt text of the missing image is:
    Freddie Mercury e David Bowie juntos no Carnaval!

    Probably this is happening in other posts as well, but I didn’t have the time to check everything.

    Hi @robbie13,

    Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I’ll definitely have a look into this. Users losing files is probably my greatest fear as a plugin developer.

    Once I make progress in improving the plugin, would you be available for some beta testing before I officially release the new version? Just a question.

    Well, tbh I was expecting some help with these images that are not showing anymore even though they are still there… ??

    @robbie13: I’m sorry for your pictures, but since they’re still on the server, you should be able to restore it. Perhaps you haven’t attached them to the posts?

    Apart from that, I must disappoint you. I love giving support whenever I find the time, but working on a custom site with a custom scene and fixing individual errors is, to me, work.
