[Solved] Original Image is still saved

  • I unchecked the option of image backup.

    My original Image is in 3840?×?2160.

    Resizing large images – on – with 2560×2560

    Original image is still saved on host drive with original name.jpg

    Optimized image’s name is name-scaled.jpg

    Last Version of plugin.

    Is it bug? I don’t need that.

    Why leave a review right away? you need to write to support first.

    This is an innovation in WP 5.3. If the image is larger than 2560 pixels, then WordPress saves the original with the name name.jpg, but the full-size thumbnail reduces it to 2560 px and saves it with the name name-scaled.jpg.

    This is not a plugin bug.

    P.S.You can disable this by using the big_image_size_threshold hook. This will also be disabled automatically in the next version of the plugin.
