    Hello,

I had copied/pasted Facebook pixel code manually to website, when I launched.

Now I want to use plugins to easily change and configure events, So I installed it in wordpress.

–> Tested with Pixel Helper, Seems like only old version pixel code is being tracked.

Do I have to remove old pixel code, in order to use Plugin normally?

    Hi,

Yes, you have to remove the old pixel if you want to use our plugin.

You also need to delete your site cache.

    ok.

    1. If ‘old pixel’ and ‘plugin’ both exists, is it possible that Facebook pixel cannot track conversions?

    2. We removed old pixel now. Where can we delete our site cache??

    1. It depends, if both pixels will load you will have incorrect reports.

    2. That’s something I can’t tell you, since each cache plugin has a different way to do it. If you don’t know about it, chances are you are not using a cache plugin at all.

Simply test your site with Pixel Helper Chrome Extension and check if the pixel is running.
