Original Pages and Posts – compatibility question

which Posts and Pages you use in your plugin?
Is that original Post and Pages of WordPress?

I ask this, because at our plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/content-links/ we have one user, who has questions of compatibility our plugins.
