Original Password?

  • Is there anyway to retrieve the original, signup password? IE for some reason lost it and Mozilla just stored the admin but not this particular password.

    Do you mean the random password that you sign in with for the account “admin”? You should have changed this the first time you logged in. If you didn’t, however, I have no clue how to get it back. There’s probably a way to change it in phpmyadmin though. BRB with a solution….or not…

    Heh! yes, the original random password. I’ve been playing with so many templates and stuff, I didn’t get around to changing the password and lost where I scribbled it.
    Ok, I’ll play with phpadmin tomorrow. I must say getting WordPress has pushed me to another level in webstuff. I was content with making a simple page on FrontPage and uploading to the server. Never used Mysql, phpadmin or worked with CSS before.

    WordPress will be much easier than FrontPage, once you get it running.
